I know how easy it is to get lost in the details when you’re planning a wedding. When we work together, I help you turn that jumble of song ideas, playlists and anxieties into a carefully planned celebration that covers all your bases.
Together, we’ll go through a meticulous planning process to capture what matters to you most.
We’ll even fill in the little key details that planners sometimes overlook. I weave it all into a schedule of events that flows beautifully through to the last moments of the night.
With me as your DJ and host for the evening, you can be confident your party is a good time and ends on time.
Hey, I’m Jimmy.
I’m a world-touring musician turned wedding DJ in Chicago, Illinois. For the last 10 years, I’ve been helping clients throw epic wedding receptions, private parties and corporate events.
Music is more than my passion — it’s my life-long profession! I picked up a trumpet for the first time when I was 11 and loved it. I pursued a degree in Jazz Performance and immediately put it to work. The summer after graduation, I joined a funk, soul and blues band called Bosley and traveled the country on a tour bus. It was truly the rockstar dream — writing original music, playing 3-hour sets and meeting fans in cities I’d never been in.
After Bosley, I snagged a job as Producer with Bachelor Boys Band, the premier wedding/live events band company in the Washington, DC area. It was one of those intense jobs where you learn as you go, but I quickly realized that I loved it more than anything. As a producer, I got to match couples up with the perfect live band and setlist for their big day.
No two parties are ever the same and there’s always something keeping you on your toes when there’s a wedding on the line…

…One day, that something turned out to be a wedding DJ emergency.
I got a frantic call: a couple was getting married that night — and the DJ had called in sick that morning. Could I fill in? Well, I stepped into the DJ booth for the first time that night…and haven’t looked back!
As a veteran weddings guy, I’ve now DJ’ed and hosted countless weddings.
With my musician’s ear and sound production skills, you’ll find me working the floor, stepping in to support wherever it’s needed, and coordinating closely with catering, venue staff, and event planners to ensure the event stays on track.
